After checking out the previous CinemaCube and CinemaTube I had a chance to check out the new smaller CinemaGo. We have seen consoles slim down recently so brite-View decided to make a much more compact HD media player that is full of the latest features.

The CinemaGo has more of a boxier compact size than previous models. The media player will fit perfectly with your Home Theatre. The top of the unit is a glossy black that is attractive and the unit also comes with a full size remote control. The front of the CinemaGo has a power button and two USB 2.0 ports. The CinemaGo includes an USB 802.11n WIFI adapter and HDMI cable which are usually premiums that are sold separately but included with the CinemaGo. The back of the unit has DC in, av inputs, HDMI port, Ethernet port, e-SATA port, and S/PDIF. On the side of the device you will find air vents and on one side you can turn the CinemaGo vertically to reduce space.

The CinemaGo features a new interface that is better looking and easier to use. I didn't have to pull out the manual to find how to get everything to work as it was easily accessible through the menu. I tested both HD and SD videos in multiple formats and found the CinemaGo playback everything flawlessly. The CinemaGo can also become your photo viewer and music player. The included wireless adapter allows you to stream standard def content to the player. When you want to stream HD content just used the included Ethernet to playback your high def movies. The CinemaGo allows you to install 3rd party apps like PlayOn and TVersity which allows you to view a ton of internet content. Another great feature is that you can playback ISO DVD files on the CinemaGo. This means the CinemaGo will show DVD menus and extra just like your watching on a DVD player. I have tested a USB external hard drive and SanDisk flash drive and both recognized and worked well on the player.

Now you can share your Flickr pictures when a guest say comes over. The new Flickr feature allows you to either search by username or search by keywords. I type in family pictures and got some results. It is a great way to share photos on the big screen with family and friends.

One of the new features of the Cinemago is the built in software for Internet Radio through Muzee. I can listen to all kinds of music in every category of music types. And the channels have tons of music from 210 countries.

The torrent client is a great feature when you want to download videos without having to keep your computer on all night. It also saves you on electricity bills since your not running your computer all the time. The CinemaGo only takes 10 watts to download files compared to the 100 watts to just turn on your computer. Also when I keep my computer on all the time the room gets hot from the hot air the computer blows into the room and that's good with this hot summer.

The brite-View CinemaGo is the perfect HD media player that boasts a built in torrent downloader, wireless streaming, 1080P video, and Internet Radio. This media player does it all and more and I can't find another product that features all the things this player does. In addition the performance is stellar and the design is sleek and minimalist.
