Singing Gizmo Gremlins Plush

Gremlins has always been one of our favorite movies here at ThinkGeek (please forget the sequels). Cute little Gizmo just seemed like the perfect pet even considering his ability to spawn a slew of deadly dopplegangers from a few drops of water. We assume Mogwai must be pretty smelly however as they are never able to take a bath. Plus the mysteries of Mogwai procreation seem nonsensical as we can't seem to understand how more cute cuddly creatures like Gizmo would survive long considering his evil siblings.

Now you can take your own cuddly plush Singing Gizmo home with you. He's a little smaller than life-size and looking a bit mischievous. Shake him and he sings the soothing song of the Mogwai while slowly rocking back and forth. Please don't get him wet, expose him to bright lights or feed him after midnight. We can't be responsible for the consequences.

Product Features

  • Electronic Plush Gizmo looks just like the movies and features motion and singing
  • Fabric and plastic construction
  • Sings a soothing Mogwai song while rocking back and forth
  • Officially licensed Gremlins movie collectable
  • Requires 2AA batteries (not included)
  • Gizmo Stands 18cm high

iPod Touch used by U.S. military

Newsweek is reporting that the iPod Touch is a valuable tool for members of the military. Soldiers can used the touch to translate spoken words using the app Vcommunicator. Another app that is being developed will allow them to take a photo of a street sign, upload it and immediately receive intelligence on the local area.

And finally the price tag on iPod Touch is attractive since military grade devices costs way more.

Free-D i-Ball Speaker Reviewed and it sucks

Gadgeteer reviewed the Free-D i-Ball Speaker which works with media players as an external speaker. Let's just say that Julie was a bit underwhelmed by this device.

I think you can already guess my verdict on this product… Don’t buy it.

Able Planet PS500MM True Fidelity Multimedia Headphones Reviewed by Gadgeteer

Gadgeteer reviews the Able Planet PS500MM True Fidelity Multimedia Headphones. Gadgeteer really like the headphones and gave it a 11 out of 10.

These things are built rock solid and I expect they will hold up well over time. Music sounds great in them, but you have to sock the juice to them.

Gaming in them is excellent, the action is clear and directional targeting is well above average.

I give them two thumbs up for that, but their good guy factor gets an 11 out of a possible 10.

Nintendo DSi Review

Gizmodo got hands on with the new Nintendo DSi handheld gaming console. Gizmodo found the DSi an upgrade over the DS lite. But the price is still way too high for the minor improvements. So basically hold on to your DS lite until there is a significant price drop to the DSi.

Waterfield Netbook Sleeve For HP 2140 review

GearDiary has posted a review of the HP 2140 Waterfield Netbook Sleeve case. Having reviewed the Waterfield 2133 case which is the same myself. This is an excellent sleeve case but is tad more expensive than other cases. Here is what GearDiary has to say about this case:

If you are looking for a quality way to carry your netbook (or just about any portable since there are many different sizes) it is a reasonable price to pay for real protection.
